The SAKAE Technical Paper Soft Cover Notebook A5 – SR-A5NB-LM68 is a limited-run A5 softcover notebook that uses Tomoe River FP 68 g/m² paper made by Miyoshi/Sanzen. Unlike the classic 52gsm Tomoe River, this 68gsm version has more paper thickness and body while maintaining the same smooth surface, beautiful ink shading and strong resistance to bleed-through. It’s ideal if you love Tomoe River but find 52gsm just a bit too thin. 

Inside are 160 pages of white, blank paper, giving you maximum flexibility: diary entries, sketches, layouts, ink tests, calligraphy drills—no printed ruling to get in the way of your ideas. The white base color is chosen to show fountain pen ink colors and sheening clearly, making it perfect for ink lovers. 

The notebook is thread-sewn (糸かがり製本) so it opens flat and stands up well to heavy daily use. The A5 size (148 × 210 mm) keeps it portable enough for bags and travel, while 160 pages give you a satisfying amount of space.
