IHADA Medicated Face Protect UV Milk SPF50+ PA++++ is a tone-up sunscreen milk created by Shiseido’s IHADA line for dry, sensitive, and problem-prone skin. This lightweight fluid delivers high UV protection (SPF50+ / PA++++) while gently brightening the complexion with a soft clear-beige tint that evens out redness, dullness and uneven tone.
Formulated as a quasi-drug (医薬部外品), it combines m-tranexamic acid (a brightening and anti-roughness active in Japan) with ultra-pure petrolatum to help prevent skin irritation and dark spots while reinforcing the skin’s moisture barrier. The formula is designed to protect against UV rays and blue light, and to shield the skin from fine particles such as pollen, dust and PM2.5, making it ideal for urban environments and allergy seasons.
Despite the high protection, the texture is a silky milk that spreads easily and settles into a natural, luminous finish—like a light CC base—without feeling heavy. It softens the look of pores, discoloration, and dullness, helping makeup apply more smoothly and stay fresh longer.
