The OKINA Project Paper Ring Notebook A5 is part of the classic Japanese “Project Paper” series, developed as a planning tool for thinking, projecting and presenting ideas clearly. Since its launch in 1982, Project Paper has been loved as a long-selling standard in Japanese offices and studios. 

Inside, you get 50 sheets of high-quality 81.4 gsm white paper printed with a clean 5 mm grid all the way to the edges. The light blue lines are designed to be easy on the eyes and less visible on copies and scans, so your drawings, diagrams and handwriting stand out instead of the grid. 

Each page has a micro-perforation, so you can tear it out cleanly to a true A5 size (148 × 210 mm) when you need to share your plan, attach it to a document, or file it in a binder. The durable double W-ring binding lets the notebook open fully flat or fold back on itself, making it comfortable to use in tight spaces like small desks, cafés or on the go. 

The slightly heavier 81.4 gsm paper offers a satisfying writing feel and helps reduce show-through compared to thinner office paper, so you can use ballpoint, gel pen and many fineliners without worrying as much about ghosting. It’s ideal for project planning, wireframes, engineering sketches, layouts, math, graphs, and bullet journaling.
