The Tombow PiT AIR Glue Tape is a refillable adhesive tape runner engineered for surprisingly light and smooth application from start to finish. Tombow’s original Air Touch System reduces the resistance that normally occurs when you cut the tape, so you can pull the applicator across the page with an effortless, consistent glide—even right to the very end of the roll.
Inside, PiT AIR uses a unique “Power Net Tape”: a mesh-patterned adhesive tape that combines strong adhesion with a clean break. It bonds firmly enough for thick envelopes and curved flaps, helping prevent important mail from popping open, while still cutting neatly without stringy glue tails.
The Air-fit head adapts to light unevenness and curved surfaces, helping you apply glue evenly without gaps or skips—even along edges or slightly raised paper layers. A quiet, low-noise mechanism means you can glue in classrooms, meetings or libraries without drawing attention.
Each cartridge provides 8.4 mm × 16 m of tape, giving you plenty of coverage for scrapbooking, collage, card making, journaling and sealing envelopes. The applicator body is refillable—you simply open the case and swap in a PR-MAS refill cartridge when the tape runs out, reducing plastic waste and cost over time.
The glue is acid-free and photo-safe, making PiT AIR suitable for photo albums, memory books and archival paper projects where you don’t want yellowing or damage over time.
